Woodhaven resident Michael Ciaccio was arrested Tuesday after allegedly robbing Queens Community Bank, located at 156-02 Cross Bay Blvd., just after 2:30 p.m. He allegedly gave the teller a note demanding money and stated that he had a gun and a bomb in his bag. He was later arrested by NYPD, and allegedly positively identified by bank employees. The items in his bag turned out to be a flashlight and coffee can. The robbery is being investigated by the FBI/NYPD Joint Bank Robbery/Violent Crime Task Force.
