Boston University awarded academic degrees to 6,220 students in May 2016. Among the graduates was Elliott R. Weinstein of Sunnyside, who received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History of Art and Architecture, Summa Cum Laude.
The following students have achieved High Honors at Utica College in Utica, NY. Students must be enrolled full time and obtain a grade point average of 4.0 to achieve High Honors.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its President’s List for the Spring semester 2016. Among those who made are the list are:

To be on the list, a student must have achieved an A in all coursework (4.0 grade point average) while taking at least 12 credit hours.
Just over 700 students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute were named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2016 semester.

The Dean’s List recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 and have no grades below “C.”

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled for at least 12 semester hours of graded courses and attain a semester grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

Albright College held its 157th Commencement ceremony on May 22, 2016. Diplomas were awarded to traditional, Accelerated Degree Programs and master’s degree students. Diplomas were presented by Albright President Lex O. McMillan III, Ph.D. World-renowned public health advocate John R. Garrison delivered the Commencement address.
Kamilla Bernardes, a resident of Astoria, has recently been named to the Dean’s List at Boston University for the Spring semester.
Jun Q. Wu, a resident of Corona, has recently been named to the Dean’s List at Boston University for the Spring semester.
Tanveer Kalo of Corona, a St. Lawrence University Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program scholar, has been awarded a faculty-mentored research internship for summer 2016.
Kalo is a member of the Class of 2018. He attended Civic Leadership Academy. Kalo will work with Dr. Howard Eissenstat, associate professor of history, on a project titled, “Readings in Political Islam.”
