Sunnyside’s Supriya GC to the president’s list at Mississippi University for Women for the fall semester. TO make the list, students must obtain a 4.0 grade point average.
Middle Village’s Yaroslav Yanishin recently received his white coat from the University of the Sciences. The white coat is given to physician assistant students as they begin working clinically with patients in hospitals and outpatient settings.
Several Queens students have been placed on the dean’s list at Saint Joseph’s University—including Maspeth’s Laura Moran, Kew Gardens’ Matthew Kerrigan, Forest Hills’ Sara Tejelo, Whitestone’s John Tsamblakos and Broad Channel’s Victoria Nowinski. To make the list, students must obtain a 3.5 grade point average and complete at least 15 semester credits.
The Georgia Institute of Technology recently presented degrees to several Queens students—including Long Island City’s Bin Han (who received a master of science in computer science), Astoria’s Habib Khan (master of science in computer science), Woodhaven’s Chandradeo Ramjit (bachelor of science in electrical engineering), Flushing’s Venna Wang (master of science in bioinformatics) and Rockaway Park’s Allison-Fran Johnson (bachelor of science in biomedical engineering).
Two Queens students—Astoria’s Rachel Benney Kaplan (who received a bachelor of science in human environmental sciences) and Belle Harbor’s Peter Pellegrini, Jr. (who received a bachelor of arts in communication and information sciences)—recently received their degrees from the University of Alabama.
Several Queens students were recently named to the dean’s list at Seton Hall University for the fall semester—including Howard Beach’s Alexandra Hausser, Laurelton’s Estephanie Casimyr and Rockaway Park’s Kaitlin Neiswenter.
Le Moyne College has named several Queens students to its dean’s list for the fall semester—including Woodside’s Melissa Chavez (a senior communications major), Rosedale’s Kevin Bispat (a sophomore environmental studies major) and Breezy Point’s Philip Carr (a junior criminology major), Casey Lind (a senior English major) and James Morgan (a senior finance major). To make the list, students must obtain a 3.5 grade point average.
