Technically, summer doesn’t officially start until June 21, but the season’s activities have already begun in the five boroughs. The Queens Tribune has put together its annual Summer Fun Guide, which includes some of the top things to do over the next three months.
The borough has great beaches, parks, arts institutions, sports teams and many other great activities that can be enjoyed during the summer or throughout the course of the year.
Our guide includes a list of the top concerts that will be performed in Queens between June and August, as well as a rundown of some of the major festivals and fairs that will be held in the borough. And we’ve also provided five picks for movies that might end up being surprise hits this summer as well as a list of some of the other films—from blockbusters to independent pictures—that will screen in the borough this summer.
So, dive into the Queens Tribune’s Summer Fun Guide and browse through our selection of the events and entertainment to which we are most looking forward. And have a great summer!
