The Scholars’ Academy Student Government in partnership with Millennium Development After School Program is orchestrating a toy drive for homeless children through Kid-Care NYC.
It has been three years since Scholars suffered severe damage from Hurricane Sandy and the school wants to continue paying the goodwill it received after the storm forward. Their goal is 750 toys; any toys received after that goal will be donated for the JDRF “Lil North Pole Event” in the Rockaways to raise awareness about Juvenile Diabetes. All donations will be anonymous.
