A dispute between a man and a woman in Flushing became physical on Oct. 17, and the NYPD is now searching for the man, who allegedly hit the woman in the head with a three-pound dumbbell.
The 43-year-old man and 48-year-old woman began their dispute at 1 a.m. inside a residence near Sanford Avenue and Barclay Avenue. The dispute escalated into a physical altercation and ended with the man, identified by police as Shengbin Quan, allegedly striking the woman with the dumbbell and fleeing the scene.
The woman was taken to NewYork Presbyterian/Queens with a laceration to the head and was treated and released.
Quan is five-foot-seven-inches and 170 pounds. He is described as an Asian man with brown eyes and black hair.
