The Super Bowl has brought friends and family together for 51 years and shows no signs of slowing down. This Sunday, the 2016-2017 season culminates in an epic standoff between the Atlanta Falcons and the four-time Super Bowl champs, the New England Patriots.
Queens will have no shortage of bars and establishments where fans can enjoy the big game. Here are just a few bars to keep an eye out for this weekend.
Over at Resorts World Casino, located at 110-00 Rockaway Bldv. in South Ozone Park, patrons can stop by for a chance to meet radio personality Marc “Moose” Malusis, of WFAN, and two-time Super Bowl winner and New York Giant Sean Landeta. Come with friends, enjoy a few beers and discuss the game with some of the sport’s greatest minds. The party starts at 5 p.m.
Austin’s Ale House, located at 82-70 Austin St. in Kew Gardens, has a number of great deals for football fans to enjoy during the game both at home and at the bar. Having a house party? For those of you in Northern Queens, Bourbon Street Bar and Grill – located at 40-12 Bell Blvd. in Bayside – is the spot. This Sunday, starting at 6:30 p.m., the local favorite will be showing the Super Bowl on all of its screens. For $50 a person, patrons can expect unlimited mixed drinks, bottled and tap beer, wine and both a buffet of hot and cold foods.
