Kevin Kenna of Rockaway Park; Cho So of Kew Gardens and Xianyu Wu of Rego Park attained Dean’s List at Lehigh University for the Spring 2016 semester.
Cheyenne Simpson, 18, of South Ozone Park received an Associate of Arts degree from Bard College at Simon’s Rock.
Simpson was one of ninety-four students to receive an AA degree from the early college on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Fifty-one undergraduates received their BA degrees.
Simpson attended The Mary Louis Academy before leaving to enter college early after 10th grade.
The following students have been named Presidential Scholars for the spring 2016 semester at Clarkson University:
Fernando J. Quevedo of Woodhaven, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering and Hebron Yam of Queens, a senior majoring in aeronautical engineering and mechanical engineering.
More than 500 Buffalo State students presented their own research or creative work at the annual Student Research and Creativity Celebration held on campus in April 2016. Students from many academic disciplines including art, business, education, science, and technology explained their work using posters or presentations. Gallery and performance space was allocated to students in the performing and visual arts.

Alyssa Olivieri of Ozone Park, a Occupational Therapy major in the Ithaca College Class of 2015, was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
Audrey Agas-Sarria of Richmond Hill, a graduate student at Buffalo State, presented original research at the Student Research and Creativity Celebration held in April 2016.
