During Commencement ceremonies on May 23, Lehigh University conferred 1,159 bachelor’s, 519 master’s and 80 doctoral degrees. Of the nearly 1,700 graduates, degree recipients came from 39 states and 16 countries, majoring in 70 different disciplines.
Among them were:
Aliza Molgora of Forest Hills, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management and Cho So of Kew Gardens, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies.
Corryne Perez, a Sophomore Premed/Predent major from Ozone Park, is among approximately 890 Bob Jones University students named to the Dean’s List for academic achievement during the Spring 2016 semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.0-3.74 grade point average during the semester.

The newest citizen soldiers to complete Army basic combat training and advanced individual training were welcomed to their units during a New York Army National Guard battle handoff ceremony.
Pfc. Johana Delgado from Woodhaven was formally welcomed into 719th Transportation Company during their transition ceremony on May 15 at the Jamaica Armory in Jamaica.
The State University of New York at Potsdam will recognize more than 1,000 candidates for graduation during the College’s Bicentennial Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 21. The graduating Class of 2016 will be honored at a special ceremony befitting SUNY Potsdam’s 200th anniversary.
