Air Force Airman Aaron M. Davoudi

Air Force Airman Aaron M. Davoudi graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Davoudi is the son of Shari Davoudi of Rego Park and Bijan Davoudi of Forest Hills.

The Sisterhood of Rego Park Jewish Center, 97-30 Queens Blvd., Rego Park, will sponsor a Shavuot luncheon at 12:30 on June 4. Cost is $12. To make a reservation, call (718) 459-1000.

Kew Gardens Council for Recreation and the Arts will host the sixth annual Kew Gardens Kids Art in the Park event, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 8 at Kew Gardens Cinema Park, on Austin Street and Lefferts Boulevard in Kew Gardens.
The event will include a day of mural painting, arts & crafts and other creative activities. The main attraction of the free event is a large scale group mural, open throughout the day for kids to paint whatever they envision.
