Melinda Quock, from Little Neck, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2015 semester at the University of Vermont. Quock is a Class of 2019 Geology major in the College of Arts & Sciences.
To be named to the Dean’s List, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
The following students graduated from The College of St. Scholastica during its Fall 2015 commencement ceremony Dec. 19 in the Reif Gymnasium on campus:
Esha Desai of Glen Oaks. Desai graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Physical Therapy; Micah Bryan Engel of Flushing. Engel graduated with a Master of Science in Health Information Management.
Over 1400 students were named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2015 semester at York College of Pennsylvania. Among them are:
Nicole Bazas of Flushing, a senior Marketing major has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2015 semester and Mia Polizzotto of Beechhurst, a senior International Relations major has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2015 semester.
To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Ymani Bethea of Fresh Meadows and Katerina Traut of College Point were named to the Dean’s List at Lehigh University in the fall 2015 semester. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.
Jong Song of Flushing, whose major is Music Performance, made the President’s List at SUNY Potsdam in the Fall 2015 semester. To achieve the honor of being on the President’s List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 375 students who excelled academically in the Fall 2015 semester to the College’s Dean’s List. The students included:
Jean-Michael Huallanca of Flushing, who is majoring in Sociology; Linda Zhang of Flushing, who is majoring in Music Performance; and Danielle Sandow of Fresh Meadows, who is majoring in Literature/Writing.
To achieve the honor of being on the Dean’s List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 semester hours, with a grade point average of between 3.25 and 3.49 in the given semester.
