A Christmas Carol
Back by popular demand, the North Country Center for the Arts National Touring Company presents this classic Charles Dickens tale of redemption. This version overflows with music, laughter, really scary ghosts, and an extremely grumpy old man. Starts at 7:30pm. Queensborough Performing Arts Center, 222-05 56th Ave., Bayside.

The Bliss Plaza Pop Up Holiday Market
The Sunnyside Shines Business Improvement District and the Queens Night Market present this bazaar over several weekends. More than 30 rotating vendors peddle gift items such as jewelry, ceramics, candles, and swaddlers. From noon to 6 pm. The Dan Zanes Trio Holiday Sing Along
Grammy-winning Dan Zanes and Haitian-American jazz vocalists Claudia Eliaza and Yuriana Sobrino share the stage. Richmond Hill Sacred Music Chorale Program

In the original play by Sophocles, Electra and her brother revenge their mother and stepfather for the murder of their father after the Trojan War. Director Stefanie Sertich set this play in war-torn Croatia in the 1990s and dedicated it to her family members and friends.
