A permit for a nine-story mixed-use building in Sunnyside has been filed with the city’s Department of Buildings.
The development—which is located at 43-44 51st St.—is expected to be approximately 99-feet tall and will occupy 59,990 square feet of space. Approximately 51,370 square feet will be dedicated to residential use, while the remaining 8,620 square feet for commercial use.
The building—which will be developed by Ronald Ji—will contain 75 apartments, 14 of which will be affordable.
In addition, there will be 38 bicycle sparking spaces, 31 vehicle parking spaces and an indoor recreational room.
Although a permit to construct the building has been filed, a permit to demolish the current building at the site has not been filed.
