A 2-year-old girl fell out of a second story window in Glendale on Wednesday afternoon, but only suffered minor injuries, police said.
The incident happened on Myrtle Avenue between 81st Avenue and 81st Road. Police stated that the child pushed up an unlocked window that was partially open.
According to a Daily News article, her fall was broken by a padded pallet in the backyard. No criminality is suspected, police said. Following the incident, the girl was taken to a local hospital for observation, although she only suffered slight bruising.
