Cause For Paws
Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato took her cat, Sugar, to the “Cause for Paws” fundraiser for the Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue in Rockaway Park on Aug. 13. The rescue was founded in 2015 and is dedicated to protecting, fostering, rehabilitating and finding homes for orphaned, neglected, abused, abandoned and homeless animals in the five boroughs.
Sugar was declared the champion of last year’s competition and was, therefore, ineligible to compete this year.
