ROBBERY PATTERN — NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man connected to a robbery pattern within the 108th Precinct.
On Dec. 18, the suspect approached an 18-year-old man who was riding a Manhattan bound E train stopped inside the 23rd Street subway station around 3 a.m. The suspect removed the victim’s iPhone and fled at the Northern Boulevard subway station, police said.
During the second incident, which took place on Jan. 4, the suspect and another man approached a 20-year-old man on a Manhattan bound E train inside the 23rd Street subway station, punched him in his face and head and removed his wallet, which contained a debit card and MetroCard, police said. The suspects also stole a cell phone charger from the victim.
Police described the suspects as black males, both of whom were wearing black coats. One of them was wearing a red du-rag and the other a blue one.
BANK ROBBERY — Police said they are searching for an individual who robbed a Woodside bank on Jan. 30 and stole more than $900.
The suspect entered a Chase bank, located at 59-26 Woodside Ave., just after 10 a.m., passed a note to the teller stating that he had a loaded firearm and demanded money, police said. The teller complied and the suspect fled the location with approximately $908.
The individual is described a five-foot-11-inch Hispanic man, who is believed to be in his mid-20s and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black bubble jacket, black cap, blue jeans, dark colored gloves and a blue surgical mask.
