The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance identifying the suspect wanted for robbery in Astoria.
On Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 5:10 a.m., the suspect walked into a Rite Aid located at 47-07 Broadway and removed 2 Craig BLUETOOTH speakers and a Craig BLUETOOTH from the shelves. When the security guard attempted to stop him, the suspect pulled out an ice pick from his jacket, pointed it at the victim and exited the store with the stolen items. The suspect then fled the location on a bicycle heading westbound on Broadway. There were no reported injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, six feet tall and 210 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black knit hat, black leather jacket and light colored pants.
