GRAND LARCENY —
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual who is wanted in connection with a grand larceny incident that took place on Nov. 23 at a subway station in Astoria.
Around 4 a.m., a 21-year-old man aboard a northbound N train at the Ditmars Boulevard/Astoria Street station discovered that his cell phones and wallet were missing from his pocket. It was determined that the victim’s credit card was used at a restaurant, located at 1133 Eastern Pkwy. in Brooklyn, that same day around 8:40 a.m. The victim’s phones were valued at $1,990.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s who was last seen wearing a gray hooded jacket and blue jeans.
