Attempted Bank Robbery – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred on Wednesday, July 20, at around 3:22 p.m. in St. Albans.
The suspect entered the Carver Federal Savings Bank located at 115-02 Merrick Blvd. and approached the bank teller. The individual then passed a note demanding money. When the teller walked away from the suspect, he left the location empty-handed.
The individual is described as a black male, approximately 25 years old, standing six feet, two inches in height and weighing 170lbs. His hair is styled in dreadlocks and he was last seen wearing a yellow construction hard hat, an orange vest and blue jeans.
