Police said that they have arrested a 36-year-old man and are searching for another man in a robbery that took place on June 1 in Corona.
Jesus Palacio, a resident of Lynn, Massachusetts, has been arrested and charged with robbery, burglary, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing, police said.
Just after 11 p.m. on June 1, Palacio and another individual are alleged to have approached a 25-year-old man outside of his residence at Christie Avenue and 101st Street in Corona and, after a brief conversation, pulled a gun on the victim and forced their way into his home.
While inside the home, the suspects allegedly demanded money. The unidentified robber fled, while Palacio was arrested at the scene, police said. The suspect for whom police are currently searching is described as a six-foot Hispanic man who weighs approximately 200 pounds, has facial hair and was last seen wearing a black hat and black t-shirt.
