Police are searching for an individual who is wanted in connection with an assault that took place on May 29 in Jackson Heights.
Around 3:30 p.m., a 46-year-old man was walking in front of 84-18 Roosevelt Ave. when an unknown individual walked up behind him, grabbed him by the back of the neck and forced him to walk several feet before pushing him to the ground. The suspect proceeded to kick and punch the victim several times about the body, causing the victim to sustain pain and swelling to the head.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man who is approximately 30 years old. He had a medium build with short dark hair and was last seen wearing a white Nike T-shirt, black sweat pants and dark colored sneakers.
