Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three individuals who are wanted in connection with a robbery that took place in Flushing on May 21.
Around 5:15 p.m., the three suspects entered the Golden Prince Spa, located at 33-70 Prince St., and approached two women employed at the store, ages 29 and 31, displaying a knife. One of the men held a knife to the 29-year-old woman’s throat and demanded money, while the other woman was restrained. The men fled the location on foot with three iPhones and $700. The victims were not injured during the robbery.
DEAD BODY DISCOVERED
Police discovered an unconscious 18-year-old woman who was later pronounced dead inside of her home on May 27 in Flushing.
Emily Gonzalez, who lived on Bowne Street, was discovered unconscious and unresponsive inside of the residence by emergency responders. EMS pronounced the teenager dead at the scene. The city’s medical examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.
