Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection with a robbery in Flushing on Nov. 18.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., two individuals approached a 59-year-old woman from behind and struck her on the head, causing her to lose consciousness, in front of 141-30 33rd Ave. When the victim regained consciousness, she realized that her purse was missing. On Nov. 19 around 2 a.m., the suspect used one of the victim’s credit cards at a Rite Aid, located at 186-16 Union Turnpike, to purchase $7.79 worth of merchandise.
One suspect is described as a heavy-set black woman who was last seen wearing a black hat, black hooded coat, black pants and black shoes.
