INVESTIGATION DOA —
A 38-year-old woman fell to her death in Flushing on Nov. 25 as police attempted to apprehend her during a raid on a third-floor apartment, police said.
Around 7:30 p.m., members of the Queens North Vice Enforcement Division were conducting an operation at 135-32 40th Road.
When officers attempted to gain entry, units positioned outside the location witnessed the woman fall from the third floor and land on the sidewalk, sustaining severe injuries to her head and body. EMS transported the woman to New York Presbyterian Hospital/Queens, where she died from her injuries on Nov. 26. The city’s medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
