GRAND LARCENY —
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals who are wanted in connection with a grand larceny incident that occurred within the confines of the 109th Precinct on Oct. 20.

These men are being sought in a grand larceny incident.
Around 3 p.m. inside of 57-01 Main St. in Flushing, a 57-year-old man discovered that a bank check he mailed out had never reached its intended recipient. On Oct. 3—inside of a Bank of America, located at 31-87 Steinway St. in Astoria—two individuals had deposited the check, which was now altered with another person’s name on it, into an account for the purpose of withdrawing the money.
The first suspect is described as a dark-skinned man with a goatee and curly hair who was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, red or orange jacket with black stars all over it and orange or red shirt. The second suspect is described as a dark-skinned man who was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “alife” across its chest in gold lettering.
