DRUG BUST —
Police arrested two men and two women from Flushing—as well as a Brooklyn man and another from Manhattan—on drug-related charges on March 13.
Around 2:40 p.m. in front of 146-44 58th Ave. in Flushing, two officers from the 109th Precinct’s Anti-Crime Unit were conducting plain-clothes patrol in an unmarked vehicle when they observed three men standing near a 2015 Honda SUV. The officers allegedly observed the men exchange large bundles of cash and vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana.
When the officers approached, the men allegedly fled to a nearby residence. A search warrant was obtained for the residence and, the following evidence was allegedly recovered: 195 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $500,000, more than $19,000 in cash and 19 bags of Ketamine with an estimated street value of $1,000.
Police arrested Chenfeng Li, 23, and Ling Ling Li, 28 who live on 58th Avenue; Feng Pan, 26, who lives on 58th Street; Rong Yang, 30, who lives on Smart Street; Brooklyn’s Hao Li, 28; and Manhattan’s Wen Chen, 37. Charges include criminal possession of marijuana, criminal sale of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a forgery device, forgery and possession of forged instruments.
