Police are searching for two men who assaulted another man inside the Flushing/Main Street 7 station on Jan. 22.
Just before 2 p.m., the 43-year-old victim was standing in line at the subway station booth to add money to his MetroCard. He stepped out of line to check the balance using the station’s self-service swipe balance checking device that was mounted on the outside of the booth. A dispute began between the victim and two unidentified men, who pushed the victim towards the station stairs and then assaulted him, knocking him unconscious, police said.
The suspects then fled the subway station. The victim suffered lacerations to his face and was transported by EMS to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. Police described the suspects as Hispanic males, one of whom appeared to be in his 20s and another in his 40s.
