The NYPD is seeking an individual who is wanted for questioning in relation to the slashing of a 29-year-old woman on June 7 in Flushing.
The incident occurred at 8:40 p.m. near Main Street and 41stAvenue in Flushing. The suspect approached the victim and then slashed her on the left side of her face with a box cutter before fleeing the scene.
The suspect was last seen wearing a green head scarf, green bomber jacket, gray sweat pants and blue sneakers, and is described as a 5-foot-7-inch black man weighing approximately 250 pounds.
Police said that they are searching for a man wanted in connection with a burglary that took place in Whitestone on July 5.
Shortly after midnight, an unidentified individual climbed through an unlocked window at the New York Internal Medicine doctor’s office, located at 17-52 Francis Lewis Blvd. The individual removed $250 cash from an office drawer before fleeing to parts unknown.
The suspect is a five-foot-11-inch black man who weighs approximately 180 pounds and has a slim build, short cut hair and facial hair. He has tattoos on his chest and left hand and was last seen wearing a baseball hat, glasses and short sleeve button down shirt and carrying a book bag.
