BURGLARY PATTERN — Burglars have struck six times at businesses in the 107th Precinct between Jan. 16 and Feb. 7, police said.
During the first incident, the burglars forced open a rear door of Flushing’s Barua Gift and Grocery, located at 147-13 Union Turnpike, between 3:22 a.m. and 9 a.m. and stole $9,900 in cash, two lottery tickets, cigarettes and MTA Metrocards. The burglars struck again on Jan. 24 at Fresh Meadows’ Lane Cleaners, located at 164-10 69th Ave., between 7:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. the next morning, forcing open a rear door and removing approximately $100 in cash, police said.
On Jan. 24, the burglars also broke into Gourmet Bukharian, located at 164-08 69th Ave., by forcing open a rear door. They stole approximately $3,000 in cash from that business. On that same day, they broke into two more businesses — Fresh Meadows’ Futigi, located at 164-04 69th Ave., and Gold Nail Salon and Spa, located at 184-08 Horace Harding Expressway — and stole items. From the first spot, they removed $200 in cash, but nothing was stolen from the spa.
The burglars struck again on Feb. 7 around 2:19 a.m. at Fresh Meadows Halal Meat, located at 184-12 Horace Harding Expressway, but were unable to gain entry through a rear door. The suspects are described as men wearing dark colored clothing.
