ROBBERY— A 41-year-old woman was robbed on Jan. 17 as she was walking in Ridgewood, police said.
The victim was at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Stanhope Street just before 11 p.m. when a man grabbed her arm from behind and pushed her to the ground.
The suspect attempted to steal her handbag, but fled without any property after the victim began screaming, police said.
Police describe the suspect as a five-foot-five-inch Hispanic man who is believed to be between the ages of 40 to 45 years and weighs approximately 150 to 160 pounds. The suspect, who had a white and gray goatee, was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light gray sweatpants and white sneakers, police said.
