Police said that they are searching for an individual who is wanted in connection with a series of burglaries within the confines of the 102nd Precinct between November and April.
On Nov. 19, an unidentified individual entered Richmond Hill’s Yeshiva Shaar Hatorah elementary school, located at 117-06 84th Ave., around 2 a.m. and removed two pairs of headphones worth $200. Then, on March 17, the individual entered the same school around 4 a.m. and removed a laptop and computer accessories totaling $200. He burgled the school again on March 24, at which time he entered through a rear door around 3:35 a.m. and removed $600 worth of quarters from the soda machine.
On April 7, he broke into the Congregation Adas Yereim synagogue, located at 122-31 Metropolitan Ave., through a side entrance and removed two charity boxes containing and undetermined amount of cash. Finally, on April 28, he broke into the school again around 5 a.m. through a rear door and removed $300 from a soda machine.
The suspect was described as a man who was last seen wearing a black hat and all dark clothing.
